About

Jeff Krause (Jay) is the Artistic Director of ChakraWorks.  He studies and practices music, art, dance, intuitive bodywork, web design, software, and personal and business consulting. 

Jay has been a practicioner of energy/spiritual healing and personal growth modalities for over 25 years.  He views the mind, spirit, and body as a single integrated entity and his sessions reflect that philosophy. 

Jay has been blessed with the opportunities to study with masters in many practices and cultures, including gurus from India, Shamen from Brazil and North America, Esalen bodywork masters, and Reiki masters.  He has also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is an adherent of the philosophy and practice of Gestalt.

Jay is a Reiki Master and an Esalen practitioner,  and has certification from the in Big Sur, California, where he spends several weeks every year.

In addition to ChakraWorks, Jay does graphic/web design and photography (http://manyworks.com), is a professional musician (horn), and volunteers with various organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He has degrees in music, computer science and religion. 

Location

Since closing our studio in 2008 I do primarily home visits.  I also have occasional access to a studio in the SOMA district of San Francisco.
